Using FBML will Enhance Your Facebook Landing Page

by Ryan Shell on February 2, 2010

Since yesterdays “Social Media Launch” post I’ve received a few questions about the html application that I used to create the landing page for my employer. Click here for the live link, or click the screenshot below.

The application is called FBML, and it allows you to drop in html. You can also add video and other cool things – depending on how vast your html knowledge is.

Ryan, Have you also considered using FBML to collect fan emails?

  • Ryan Shell

    Jen,

That, along with many other things has been considered. The FB page for Truliant will continue to evolve and add new features. There is def a balance that has to be considered in terms of overdoing a page, and its tabs.

Thanks a ton for leaving a comment!

The code here intrigues me. I’ve always been curious how to make a FB tab like this. Could you please post the code you used for comparison?
