Twitter User Statistics – Only 26% have 10 Followers or More

by Ryan Shell on March 11, 2010

Mashable published an interesting article that highlight various Twitter statistics that I thought you might find interesting.

  • Only 21% of Twitter users are active (active = 10 followers, follows 10 people and tweeted at least 10 times) users
  • 26% of Twitters users had 10 followers or more as of December 2009
  • Most of the tweets come from 1/4 of the user base

At the very least, this new round of data furthers my thoughts that Facebook is “more important” than Twitter. Click here to check out the full article.
