Google Docs adds new Features

by Ryan Shell on April 13, 2010

I’m a big fan of Google Docs, and if you haven’t heard, a major overhaul was pushed out yesterday. If you’ve never tooled around with Docs, I highly recommend you do so.

From text, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings and forms… there really isn’t much you can’t do with Google’s online software.

One thing that I really love is the fact that you can save documents online allowing you to access them from virtually anywhere, but you can also create links and share them with others.

Google’s also added a cool collaboration feature that acts similar to that of Google Wave – this means you and someone else could virtually edit a document and have changes happen real time.

Take a moment and watch the video below to learn about the plethora of changes made to Google Docs.

Thanks Ryan, great info. Been using Google Docs for years and didn’t receive any information about these changes. Oh well…

Too bad they can’t spend a few minutes and implement a “print preview” for their Chrome browser…
